  • Preheat your oven to 375-400°F. While the oven is heating, prepare the ground beef by cooking it in a skillet over medium heat until it's browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat.
  • Season the cooked beef with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. For added flavor, mix in minced onion and garlic. If desired, stir in some tomato paste and canned sliced mushrooms to the meat mixture.
  • Roll out the pizza dough to fit your pie or baking dish. Place the rolled-out dough into the dish, making sure it covers the bottom and sides evenly.
  • Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the base of the dough, then add the cooked ground beef mixture followed by your preferred pizza toppings.
