STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE TRIFLE

  • - 8 ounces of softened cream cheese
  • - Powdered sugar
  • - 3 cups of heavy whipping cream
  • - 2 pints of sliced fresh strawberries

  • - Instant cheesecake pudding mix

  • Bake and cool the strawberry cake according to package instructions or your homemade recipe. Once cooled, cut the cake into small cubes.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the instant cheesecake pudding mix to the cream cheese mixture and beat until fully combined.
  • Gradually add the heavy whipping cream to the pudding mixture, mixing on low speed until smooth and well incorporated.
  • Gently fold the sliced fresh strawberries into the cream cheese mixture, reserving a few slices for the top layer of the trifle.
  • Assembly
  • In a trifle dish, layer half of the cake cubes at the bottom.
  • Follow with a layer of fresh strawberries and half of the cream cheese mixture.
  • Repeat the layers by adding another round of cake cubes, more strawberries, and the remaining cream cheese mixture.
  • For the top layer, add a generous amount of whipped cream and garnish with the reserved strawberry slices.
  • Decorate the trifle with additional strawberries and, if desired, some chocolate curls for an elegant touch.
