Instructions
Bake and cool the strawberry cake according to package instructions or your homemade recipe. Once cooled, cut the cake into small cubes.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Add the instant cheesecake pudding mix to the cream cheese mixture and beat until fully combined.
Gradually add the heavy whipping cream to the pudding mixture, mixing on low speed until smooth and well incorporated.
Gently fold the sliced fresh strawberries into the cream cheese mixture, reserving a few slices for the top layer of the trifle.
Assembly
In a trifle dish, layer half of the cake cubes at the bottom.
Follow with a layer of fresh strawberries and half of the cream cheese mixture.
Repeat the layers by adding another round of cake cubes, more strawberries, and the remaining cream cheese mixture.
For the top layer, add a generous amount of whipped cream and garnish with the reserved strawberry slices.
Decorate the trifle with additional strawberries and, if desired, some chocolate curls for an elegant touch.
