Cooking Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter or oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to over-mix.
If desired, fold in walnuts or chocolate chips into the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
When cooking banana bread, remember to use very ripe bananas for the best flavor and moisture. You can also enhance the texture by using a combination of butter and oil, or adding Greek yogurt or sour cream for added moisture.
If you enjoy experimenting, try incorporating different spices or add-ins to customize your banana bread to your liking!
