Ingredients
  

  • INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces of fettuccine pasta
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

  • COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Start by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of the pasta water for later use.
  • While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they're golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer, then slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat it in the garlic cream sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve your desired consistency.
  • Finally, stir in the sliced chicken and let everything heat through for another minute.
  • For best results, remember to taste and adjust the seasoning of the sauce as you go.
  • You can also experiment with adding different herbs or spices to enhance the flavor profile. For a bit of acidity, a squeeze of lemon juice can brighten the dish, while a sprinkle of red pepper flakes can add a nice kick if you enjoy some heat.
