  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - 4 cloves garlic minced
  • - 1 cup heavy cream
  • - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • In the same pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes, then add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to combine. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add the reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the creamy garlic pasta immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and added flavor.
  • For the best results, make sure to use freshly minced garlic to enhance the flavor of the dish.
  • Additionally, you can customize it by adding vegetables like spinach or mushrooms, or even some cooked chicken or shrimp for added protein.
