HONEY SALMON RECIPES

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • - Salmon fillets
  • - Salt
  • - Pepper
  • - Garlic powder
  • - Honey 1/3 to 1/4 cup
  • - Low-sodium soy sauce
  • - Minced garlic or garlic powder
  • - Fresh lemon juice
  • - Red pepper flakes optional
  • - Aluminum foil or parchment paper for baking

Instructions

  • Cooking Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F or your grill to 400°F. If you're using the oven, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which will help achieve a better crust. Season both sides of the salmon with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, minced garlic or garlic powder, fresh lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using) to create the sauce.
  • If baking, place the seasoned salmon on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. If grilling, wrap the salmon in foil packets and place them on the grill, cooking until done.
  • During the last few minutes of cooking, pour the honey sauce over the salmon to glaze it. Allow it to caramelize slightly for added flavor before removing from heat.
  • Serve the honey salmon with fluffy rice and steamed vegetables, garnished with lemon slices and cilantro for a fresh finish.
