Cooking Instructions
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter for 1 minute until creamy and smooth.
Add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl, mixing for an additional minute until well combined.
Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the mixture, mixing on low speed for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the dough is well combined.
Once the dough is ready, cover it and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
After chilling, scoop out 1 tablespoon of dough and flatten it in your hand, making sure it's wide enough to fit around a Hershey's Kiss.
Place an unwrapped Hershey's Kiss in the center of the flattened dough, then fold the dough around the chocolate to cover it completely.
Arrange the shaped dough balls 2 inches apart on a prepared baking sheet.
Preheat your oven to 375°F and bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until they're just set and lightly browned around the edges.
Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet for 8-10 minutes.
After cooling, roll the cookies in powdered sugar for a sweet finish.
For the best results, make sure that your butter is perfectly softened (not melted) for easy mixing. Feel free to experiment with different types of Hershey's Kisses to create unique flavor combinations.
Additionally, chilling the dough is essential as it makes handling the dough easier and helps the cookies maintain their shape while baking. Enjoy your delicious cookies!
