COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This guarantees that the cake bakes evenly and achieves a nice golden color.
Combine Wet Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, your chosen sweetener, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. This step helps distribute the baking powder and spices evenly throughout the cake.
Add Apples and Nuts: Core and chop the apples coarsely. Gently fold the chopped apples and nuts (if using) into the wet mixture, then gradually add the dry mixture until just combined.
Prepare the Pan: Grease a springform pan with baking spray and line the bottom with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
