GINGERBREAD FLAVORED RECIPES

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the molasses, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cloves, and salt until evenly mixed.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Carefully stir in the hot water, mixing until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Once baked, remove the gingerbread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
