DELICIOUS DORITO TACO SALAD

  • - 1 head of lettuce iceberg or romaine, chopped
  • - 1 cup halved tomatoes cherry or grape
  • - 1 bag Nacho Cheese Doritos crushed
  • - Catalina salad dressing

  • Begin by browning the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until the meat is no longer pink, ensuring it's fully cooked.
  • Once the beef is browned, add in the taco seasoning along with the recommended amount of water. Stir to combine and let it simmer until the mixture thickens, around 5 minutes.
  • While the beef mixture is simmering, prepare the salad base by chopping the lettuce and halving the tomatoes. Place them in a large bowl along with any additional vegetables you wish to add.
  • After the beef mixture has thickened, add it to the bowl of chopped lettuce and tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle the crushed Doritos over the top of the salad. Drizzle with Catalina salad dressing and toss everything together until well combined. Nacho Cheese Doritos are a popular choice for this dish, but feel free to use your favorite flavor.
