CARAMEL PECAN DREAM BARS

  • - 1/2 cup softened butter
  • - 1 egg
  • - 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • - 1 cup chopped pecans Millican Pecan's Pecan Pieces recommended
  • - 1 cup toffee baking chips
  • - Optional: Chocolate chips butterscotch chips, shredded coconut, dried fruit (for add-ins)

  • Cooking Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray to guarantee the bars don't stick.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, softened butter, and egg. Mix until a dough-like consistency forms to create the crust.
  • Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of the greased baking dish, creating a solid base.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the crust, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
  • Sprinkle the chopped pecans and toffee baking chips evenly over the top of the sweetened condensed milk.
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the filling is golden and bubbly.
  • Remove the dish from the oven and let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into small squares for serving.
