CABBAGE RECIPES INSTANT POT

  • Begin by preparing the cabbage. Wash it thoroughly, remove the outer leaves, and cut it in half to remove the core. Slice the cabbage into 1-2 inch pieces and set aside.
  • Dice the onion and mince the garlic cloves.
  • Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode and melt the butter in the pot. Add the diced onions and minced garlic, sautéing until the onions are translucent and fragrant.
  • Once the onions and garlic are cooked, add the sliced cabbage to the pot along with the broth. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
  • Close the lid of the Instant Pot, ensuring the valve is set to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  • After the cooking time is complete, perform a quick release to release the pressure. Carefully open the lid and stir the cabbage.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. If desired, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
