ALFREDO PASTA

Ingredients
  

  • INGREDIENTS:
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 to 1.5 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

  • COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, pour in the heavy cream and stir gently to combine. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the mixture to thicken slightly.
  • Gradually whisk in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little of the reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing it in the sauce until evenly coated. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, adjusting as necessary.
  • Serve the Alfredo Pasta immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
  • For extra tips, remember to serve your Alfredo Pasta right away while it's still warm and creamy. If you plan to add proteins or vegetables, cook them separately and incorporate them into the dish just before serving.
